Contract Supervisor

Join the H.W. Martin Group, a leading provider of waste management services, as a Contract Supervisor. This exciting opportunity will see you play a key role in the management of our Household Waste Recycling Centres and Transfer Stations.
About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Supervisor to join our team. As a Contract Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities, managing a diverse team of staff, and achieving performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with Health and Safety legislation
- Monitor operations to ensure full compliance with company and legislative requirements
- Assist in the operational management of a diverse team of staff
- Achieve performance targets and report progress through management information reports
- Inspect and monitor operational facilities for compliance with required standards
- Implement and monitor agreed operational plans to ensure HWRCs and Transfer Stations meet required standards
- Assist in the delivery of quality and service improvements across the area
- Represent the company at internal and external meetings as required
- Experience in a similar supervisory role
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Flexibility for extensive travel as required
- Experience driving heavy plant is preferred but on-the-job training can be provided
- Certificate of Technical Competency qualified in Hazardous Waste transfer or willing to work towards obtaining the qualification
