Senior Care Lead

At Ardenlee Care Home, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity.
- Oversee medication management, ensuring accurate ordering, administration, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Foster a positive and supportive team environment, promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Welcome visitors and provide tours of our care home facilities.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, assessing and providing assistance as needed.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of care plans, risk assessments, and case notes.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and e-learning, promoting personal and professional growth.
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies, including COSHH, and escalate concerns to management.
Requirements:
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Practical Medication Administration with competencies.
- Leadership skills, with ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Compassionate nature, with a commitment to person-centred care.
