About the Role

Lidl in Deutschland is seeking a highly motivated and organized Contracts Administrator to join our Head Office Buying Administration team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our contracts administration process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write contracts for Food Own Label, Branded, Fresh Produce & Non-Food items for GB and/or any other Lidl country in a timely manner within the agreed deadlines.
  • Check, send out, and receive price confirmation sheets within the agreed business deadlines.
  • Send out, receive, and check supplier and product data requests via our Supplier Portal within the agreed business deadlines as well as other relevant documents like certificates (e.g. BRC, organic).
  • Urgently communicate item and/or price changes within our own department as well as to other Lidl countries.
  • Maintain a variety of Lidl purchasing systems (EKK, EKS, DMS, LNP, FAP, etc.) to a high standard of quality.
  • Ensure that all data quality queries like internal audit findings are looked into and closed out as soon as possible.
  • Keep business critical deadlines ensuring that other departments can also meet their deadlines while keeping all parties informed.
  • Work with shared inboxes and allocate emails.
  • Support our suppliers and stakeholders with department relevant requests.
  • Support our suppliers in using our systems, navigating our resources available to them.
  • Assist with project work and make suggestions for process improvements.

Requirements

  • Previous administration experience within an office environment.
  • Motivated, able to work well in a team and independently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Organized with the ability to multitask and work to targets and strict deadlines.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • A high degree of adaptability.
  • A confident approach with excellent communication skills.
  • The ability and confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues across all levels of the business.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Pro-active, approaching problems logically and calmly.
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Positive can-do attitude with the willingness to learn.
  • German speakers preferred, but not essential.
