We are seeking an experienced Nightshift HGV Technician to join our team at MAN Truck & Bus UK. As a key member of our depot in Gateshead, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Maintenance: Interpret repair instructions and carry out necessary work to maintain our vehicles in excellent condition.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest technical information and attend training sessions to enhance your skills.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Accurately record work done and tests carried out, and report any further work required or vehicle faults.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and tidy work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Provide information, maintain records, and carry out duties in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner, while enhancing the company image and reputation.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as an HGV Technician, preferably in a workshop environment.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge, good communication skills, and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Education: Relevant qualifications in HGV maintenance and repair.
