About the Role

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Care Paediatric Dentistry Co-ordinator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide comprehensive support to our Salaried Dental Services and Dental Hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage clinic co-ordination, including booking appointments and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high-quality service for patients.
  • Oversight of waiting lists, ensuring patients are booked in for appointments within Referral to Treatment Times (RTT) targets.
  • Collate performance information and escalate any capacity issues or exceptions.
  • Provide administrative support, including letter writing, diary management, and communication with patients and staff.
  • Support contact with patients who have been treated under general anaesthetic and escalate any concerns to the clinical team.
  • Organise letters to medical and social services teams following assessment and treatment appointments.
  • Support with the collation and analysis of PROMs and PREMs information and escalate any concerns to the clinical team.
