Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our People Services Administration team, you will provide timely and effective administrative support to our colleagues, ensuring a positive experience at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality administrative support to designated business units, ensuring all queries are resolved efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all written documentation, with a maximum error rate of 5%.
- Manage administrative requests within agreed service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring timely completion and resolution.
- Take ownership of queries and issues, escalating to the Team Leader/Senior as necessary, and maintaining open communication throughout.
- Quality-check transactions and documentation in real-time, ensuring no impact on SLAs and providing fast resolution to the business.
- Process completed forms, ensuring appropriate authorization before contractual changes are actioned.
- Develop a good understanding of the Right to Work process, particularly UK legalization.
- Apply a working knowledge of systems to answer queries and resolve problems from colleagues.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail, particularly in data input, drafting contractual documents, and reviewing team members' work.
- Be flexible in approach to support other team members within the wider HR team, as needed.
- Take ownership of tasks and see them through to resolution.
- Proactively diarize Stakeholder Engagement calls to build relationships with the business, aiming for great feedback.
- Contribute to leading daily huddles.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and grammatical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
