Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Principal Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a community-based practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, specialist applied psychology services to our young people.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in improving outcomes for our young people. As a Principal Clinical Psychologist, you will be part of the Children's Intensive Support Team (IST) Leadership Team and will be responsible for the supervision and governance of the team. You will also provide consultation, supervision, formulation, and training to support psychological practice within the team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist assessments and psychological interventions to service users and their families or carers.
- Contribute to team formulation, consultation, training, service evaluation, and supervision of other qualified staff.
- Work directly with service users and their families or carers, including those who are autistic or have a learning disability and mental health needs.
- Participate in service development, research, and business meetings.
- Provide supervision to other psychology staff or team members providing psychologically informed interventions.
