Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a specialist school in Nottinghamshire. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students during lessons and school activities, promoting positive behaviour and engagement.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
  • Provide physical management and care for students with complex needs.
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group activities to support students' social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collect and record evidence of students' progress to inform assessment and reporting.
Desirable Attributes:
  • Experience working with students with SEND and/or behavioural difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • High levels of care, resilience, and patience.
  • Desire to work with and support students with a range of needs.
