Job Title: Import Export Logistics Team Leader

Join May & Stephens, a luxury brand, as we seek an experienced Import/Export Logistics Team Leader to lead our Distribution team in our modern Essex warehouse and office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control inward IPR shipments, ensuring correct customs procedures are used and goods are received and quality-checked.
  • Manage import/export documentation, including IRP shipments, and mentor the distribution team to ensure orders are delivered to a high standard.
  • Update and manage aspects of the Production Report and track and chase inward shipments from suppliers.
  • Day-End Report to all relevant staff on goods in and goods out Stock Control and ensure stock items are protected and stored appropriately.
  • Record stock movements, track and control samples, and perform quarterly stock takes.
  • Provide accurate and timely delivery quotes to the sales team, identifying different options and costs, including allowances for duties and taxes.

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of logistics, customs, imports, and exports.
  • Ability to develop and mentor the distribution team.
  • Stock management and logistics experience.
  • Full, clean driving license is an essential requirement.
  • Health and safety awareness.
