Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Mental Health / Learning Disabilities to join our team in the Mental Health Inpatient Services at various locations across Lancashire & South Cumbria. As a Bank Registered Nurse, you will have the flexibility to choose when and where you work, with the option to work full-time or part-time shifts.

Main Duties

As a Bank Registered Nurse Mental Health / Learning Disabilities, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care needs for patients in our inpatient mental health settings. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, person-centered, and recovery-focused care.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registered Nurse - Mental Health / Learning Disability qualification
  • Completion of Band 5 preceptorship programme
  • On-going registration with the NMC
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team structure
  • Experience of assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care needs
