University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust is seeking dedicated Bank Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to provide essential support within our acute hospital setting.

We recognize the vital role mental health plays in overall patient well-being. Our bank RMNs are instrumental in delivering compassionate care to patients experiencing a range of mental health challenges alongside their physical health needs.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care and observation to patients exhibiting behavioral disturbances, distress, or confusion.
  • Deliver a variety of nursing and psychosocial interventions to alleviate patient distress and support their recovery.
  • Collaborate with general hospital colleagues to make informed decisions regarding treatment and care plans for complex cases.
  • Represent mental health services within the general hospital environment, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
