About the RoleAs a Bank RMN, you will provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients experiencing a range of mental health conditions. This may include assisting with physical healthcare needs alongside addressing their psychological well-being.
You will work closely with general hospital colleagues, contributing your expertise to ensure comprehensive patient care in complex situations.
Key Responsibilities- Delivering a range of nursing and psychosocial interventions to alleviate patient distress.
- Providing one-to-one nursing for patients exhibiting behavioral disturbances or experiencing mental health crises.
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing appropriate safety measures.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
- Proven experience in working therapeutically with individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
- In-depth knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and the Mental Health Act, and their application within a general hospital setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
