About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Emergency Department. As a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualised care plans for patients, ensuring their needs are met and their safety is prioritised.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including assessment, treatment, and discharge planning.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring best practice is upheld.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
