Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing safe and effective nursing services to the practice population.
- Leading and supervising the nursing team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Implementing new clinical services and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Attending practice meetings and updating partners and management on relevant information.
- Conducting regular meetings with the nursing team to address clinical and organizational issues.
- Working closely with the practice manager to manage staff within the nursing team.
- Identifying training needs and promoting lifelong learning and continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to diagnose, monitor, and manage patients with chronic conditions.
About Us
The Market Surgery is a busy seven-doctor practice serving over 10,000 patients in and around Aylsham. We aim to provide a friendly and efficient service, fulfilling all primary care needs. Our practice is part of North and Waveney Integrated Care Service and is a training practice for GP Registrars and medical students.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will possess:
- RGN qualification.
- Current NMC registration.
- Accredited training in chronic disease management.
- Cervical cytology qualification.
Additional Skills
The successful candidate will also possess:
- Up-to-date training in childhood immunizations.
- Health promotion skills.
- Family planning knowledge.
- Knowledge of SystmOne (desirable).
- Accredited training in anticoagulation management (desirable).
