Financial Reporting and Analysis Expert

Pratap Partnership Ltd is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting and Analysis Expert to join their finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a hybrid working model, providing a balance between working from home and in the office.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  2. Provide insightful commentary on key financial performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  4. Support the senior finance team in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
  5. Collaborate with department heads to track and report on departmental performance and financial outcomes.
  6. Review and enhance existing financial processes and controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  7. Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
  8. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
  1. Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience.
  2. Proven experience in management accounting, with strong financial reporting and analysis skills.
  3. Strong Excel skills, including the ability to build and manage financial models.
  4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
