Job Title: Tutor for PEX Students

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Tutor to support PEX students with their learning and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised instruction to PEX students across various subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and materials that align with each student's educational goals and capabilities.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and resilience.
  • Work closely with parents, guardians, and other professionals to develop and implement effective educational plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and outcomes, and prepare reports for stakeholders as required.
  • Offer guidance and mentoring to help students build confidence, self-esteem, and essential life skills.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with students who have been excluded or have special educational needs (SEN).
  • Strong understanding of behavioural management techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Additional qualifications in SEN or behavioural support.
  • Experience and knowledge of UK curriculum.
  • Knowledge of local educational policies and support services.
