Job Title: KS4 Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS4 Tutor to provide valuable support to Keystage 3 students in Middlesbrough.

About the Role:

This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent in the future. As a KS4 Tutor, you will be working closely with the Local Authority to deliver personalized tutoring sessions in English, Science, or Maths on a one-to-one basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tailored lessons for individual students or small groups
  • Track and document student progress and performance in a timely manner
  • Work with students with SEN needs, such as SEMH and Challenging Behaviour
  • Hold a current DBS that is on the update service or be willing to apply for one
Requirements:
  • Solid understanding of the UK National Curriculum
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in an educational setting
  • Experience of working with students with SEN needs
