The Electronics Procurement Specialist will play a vital role within the purchasing department, responsible for sourcing and acquiring goods and services that align with the operational needs of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive market analysis and evaluating data to uncover trends and opportunities.
- Building and nurturing relationships with suppliers to guarantee timely and high-quality deliveries.
- Creating and overseeing purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documentation.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure that procurement needs are effectively met.
- Managing inventory levels and enhancing inventory management processes.
- Engaging in professional development opportunities to further your career.
- Accessing advanced technology and systems to support procurement activities.
Qualifications:
- CIPS Level 2 in Supply Chain Management or Procurement.
- Familiarity with the tendering process and procurement of packaging products or similar items.
- Experience in procurement under European Community regulations.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally in a fast-paced industrial or commercial setting.
- Strong grasp of procurement principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and procurement software (e.g., SAP).
