About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Nursing Associate to join our established community nursing team in Derbyshire. This role will provide care for patients in their own homes, promoting independence and improving health outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide community-based individualized care to patients, including long-term condition management, venepuncture, and medication administration.
  • Manage long-term conditions, perform venepuncture, and administer medication, ensuring accurate and timely treatment.
  • Complete nursing assessments and follow treatment regimes, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Work as part of a multi-professional team to provide high-quality patient care, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register, with a strong understanding of the scope of the role and the importance of following procedures and treatment plans.
  • Placement experience working within the 4 fields of nursing, with a focus on community-based care.
  • Ability to travel in own vehicle across a wide area, with a valid driver's license and a safe and reliable vehicle.
  • Experience of working in teams under appropriate supervision, as part of a multi-disciplinary team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Education, Qualifications and Training:
    • Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.
    • Placement experience working within the 4 fields of nursing.
  • Other:
    • Ability to travel in own vehicle across a wide area.
  • Experience and Knowledge Required:
    • Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate and the importance of following procedures and treatment plans.
    • Experience of working in teams under appropriate supervision, as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and carers, and all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Skills and Attributes:
