Position Overview:
As a Youth Support Facilitator at Super Hiring, you will have the rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of at-risk youth.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will assist young individuals in achieving greater independence, excelling academically, and developing personally through engaging activities within a secure setting.

You will work collaboratively with young people, their families, social services, and various organizations to ensure comprehensive support, facilitating a smooth transition into adulthood.

Daily Duties:
- Provide direct support to young individuals, actively participating in their daily care and assistance on a shift basis.
- Collaborate with young people, their social workers, and caregivers, as well as other relevant entities.
- Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate Care Plans for assigned youth preparing for increased independence.

Health and Safety:
- Maintain the facility's standards regarding health, safety, and primary care issues, making informed decisions about individual needs and behaviors during shifts.

Empowerment:
- Encourage young individuals to take responsibility for their lives, keeping them informed of their rights and involving them in life planning, while providing support to foster greater autonomy.

Safeguarding:
- Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and ensure effective reporting.

Daily Care:
- Attend to the everyday needs of young people, including personal care, meal preparation, and overall well-being.

Role Model:
- Serve as a positive role model, setting standards and guiding young individuals.

Professional Development:
- Engage in regular professional supervision and ongoing training, including 36 days of face-to-face training annually with external specialists.

Career Advancement:
- We promote internal growth and encourage you to pursue Level 3 or Level 5 qualifications within a reasonable timeframe.

Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in a regulated environment is essential.
- Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce or higher is required.
- An enhanced DBS check and enrollment in the update service are mandatory.
