Job Description

**Transport and Installation Lead Engineer**

We are seeking an experienced Transport and Installation Lead Engineer to join our team at Teespro Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering division, you will be responsible for leading the transportation and installation of wind turbines and their foundations on offshore wind projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement installation procedures for offshore wind projects, including vessel selection, positioning plans, and equipment and tool selection.
  • Ensure timely delivery of assigned deliverables against the project schedule, within budget, and to the required quality level.
  • Prepare, manage, and coordinate engineering subcontractor scope of work.
  • Perform engineering, technical preparation, and execution support for offshore wind projects.
  • Assist projects in dealing with unexpected circumstances during execution, including troubleshooting.
  • Understand and advise on how to manage project risks and their implications on program, budget, and quality.
  • Feed lessons learned back into the knowledge centre and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Civil, Mechanical, or Offshore Engineering degree, or equivalent.
  • Experience in installation engineering, including deck layout, lift and rigging plans, and operational procedures.
  • Ability to perform and review rigging design and crane lifting studies.
  • Ability to offer technical support and advice during project execution.
  • Knowledge of 3D/FEA software and supervisory and coaching skills to develop junior installation engineers.
