About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Priory Hospital Dorking. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services.
  • Conduct patient assessments to identify and prioritize patient needs, and plan and deliver relevant interventions.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient management of more junior staff.
  • Maintain and develop close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Contribute to business growth by promoting Priory therapy services in line with the local unit's business plan.
  • Lead on the implementation of new services within the site, sharing best practice with other sites in the area.
Requirements

To be successful as an Occupational Therapist, you will need:

  • A BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy, together with full BAOT membership and HPC registration.
  • Experience of working within the specialized area, including experience of working with patients with enduring mental illness.
  • Additional expertise such as DBT and CBT for Psychosis would be advantageous.
