Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Priory Hospital Dorking. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their goals and regain independence.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services.
- Conduct patient assessments to identify and prioritize patient needs, and plan and deliver relevant interventions.
- Ensure the effective and efficient management of more junior staff.
- Maintain and develop close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team.
- Contribute to business growth by actively promoting Priory therapy services.
- Lead on the implementation of new services within the site, sharing best practice with other sites in the area.
To be successful as an Occupational Therapist, you will need:
- A BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy, together with full BAOT membership and HPC registration.
- Experience of working within the specialized area, including experience of working with patients with enduring mental illness.
- Additional expertise such as DBT and CBT for Psychosis would be advantageous.
