We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our team at an outstanding school in the East Riding/East Hull area.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to pupils, creating a conducive learning environment.
- Develop and implement tailored learning plans in collaboration with the classroom teacher and school team.
- Monitor pupil progress, reporting findings to the teacher and parents/guardians.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere for pupils.
- Previous experience working with EYFS/Nursery-aged pupils, preferably in a Primary School setting.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish strong relationships with pupils, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach in supporting young learners with SEND.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
This is a full-time role with an immediate start date. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing high-quality education and support to young learners.
