Job Summary
Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a permanent full-time Band 8a Clinical Psychologist to join our core CAMHS team in East Riding.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a range of presentations, including anxiety, low mood, self-harm, and trauma, within a multidisciplinary team consisting of Clinical Psychologists, Creative Therapists, Family Therapists, CBT Therapists, Specialist Nurses, Consultant Child Psychiatrists, Administrators, and Support Workers.
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide strong, effective professional direction, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based psychological interventions and practice. You will also provide clinical supervision for doctoral trainees, assistant psychologists, and Band 7 psychologists, and develop skills in the area of professional post-qualification teaching, training, and supervision of other staff in the delivery of psychological services.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate advanced psychological skills in practice, provide support and advice on service development and implementation of highly specialist psychological interventions, and deliver quality care in collaboration with service users, staff, managers, other agencies, across a number of teams/geographical areas.
Main Duties of the Job
•Ensure the systematic provision of a high-quality clinical psychology service to clients of a particular service area.
•Provide clinical supervision for doctoral trainees, assistant psychologists, and Band 7 psychologists.
•Develop skills in the area of professional post-qualification teaching, training, and supervision of other staff in the delivery of psychological services.
•Provide support and advice on service development and implementation of highly specialist psychological interventions.
•Deliver quality care in collaboration with service users, staff, managers, other agencies, across a number of teams/geographical areas.
