About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Programme Lead to join our team at Wirral Borough Council. As a key member of our Public Health team, you will be responsible for leading and directing the development and implementation of our ambitious public health programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a small team of programme managers to deliver high-quality public health programmes
  • Develop and implement programme strategies to achieve our public health goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective programme delivery and performance
  • Provide expert advice to our Public Health Board and other key stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners to ensure successful programme delivery
Requirements
  • Proven experience in programme management and leadership
  • Strong knowledge of public health policy and practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
