We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our Financial Management Team at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to a comprehensive financial management and support service to divisions, providing key business and financial support to these divisions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial management and support to divisions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including divisional managers and other finance teams.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Provide financial guidance and advice to divisional managers and other teams.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management and the Board.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial issues to non-finance managers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of autonomy.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Experience of working in a busy financial management environment, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
- CCAB qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience of working in the NHS or a similar healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of financial management software and systems, including budgeting and financial modeling tools.
