The Opportunity

We are seeking a Hub Support Assistant to join our Early Help Service team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our family hubs are safe, welcoming, and accessible for families, children, and young people. Your primary responsibilities will include providing information, advice, and guidance on a range of issues, as well as offering practical support to families experiencing crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact effectively with the public, families, and young people.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high-quality service to families and young people.
  • Assist in maintaining effective partnerships with local organizations and external bodies.
  • Help provide a safe and welcoming space for young people through the Find It Out (FIO) offer.
  • Signpost families and young people to local services and support.
Requirements
  • GCSEs with A-C (9-4) passes in Maths and English, or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • IT qualification or equivalent experience demonstrating good working knowledge of IT systems and procedures.
  • Level 3 Information, Advice, and Guidance qualification (desirable).
  • Experience of dealing with the public and providing excellent customer service.
  • Experience of team working and delivering child or family support services (desirable).
