Teaching Assistant - SEN Opportunity
At Randstad Education, we are seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants specialising in SEN to provide individualised support for pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students in primary or secondary schools across the area, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to pupils with Autism, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs.
  • Contribute to the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students' social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Monitor and report on students' progress, adjusting support strategies as needed.
  • Assist with classroom activities and promote positive interactions between students and their peers.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with Autism or other special educational needs is essential.
  • A patient, empathetic, and supportive approach to working with children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or special educational needs are advantageous.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
