About the Opportunity

A highly rewarding role where you will lead the day-to-day activities of our store. Reporting to the Store Manager – Hub, you will support the team to provide exceptional customer experiences at Boots Opticians and throughout the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Leading the team in-store to deliver a culture of exceptional care for colleagues and customers, prioritizing customer needs in decision-making.
  • Driving the team to deliver Hub local plans for Enhanced Services.
  • Proactively managing clinics to boost productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintaining clinical and health and safety standards in-store on a daily basis.
  • Supporting the Store Manager – Hub to deliver high retailing standards, conducting regular shop floor walks to ensure a clean, well-presented store and clinical areas, and motivating colleagues to perform at their best.
  • Supporting the development of the Optical Consultant team.
  • Keyholder responsibilities, ensuring operational procedures are followed.
About You

You will have leadership experience and be highly respected by peers, customers, Store Manager - Hub, and Area Manager. Key capabilities include:
  • Ability to train and guide store colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills in 1:1 and group settings.
  • Full training provided.
  • Creating a positive in-store culture with a delivery mindset, being a great listener, and staying attuned to the store's pulse.
  • Staying up-to-date with personal learning and development.
