Engineering Project Coordinator

We are collaborating with a distinguished manufacturing firm that specializes in providing tailored telecommunications and security solutions for the Oil & Gas, energy, and Defence sectors. Renowned for their wired Public Address and CCTV systems, they are in search of an Engineering Project Coordinator to enhance their innovative team.

Role Summary

The Engineering Project Coordinator will engage in a range of engineering activities to guarantee the successful execution of projects. Reporting directly to the Projects Director, this position entails overseeing projects from the initial sale through system design, client validation, and final delivery. Additionally, the role encompasses supporting Commissioning Engineers after delivery and installation.

Core Responsibilities

System Development:

  • Craft systems in accordance with project specifications utilizing standard products and creative solutions.
  • Generate engineering schematics and documentation for client endorsement.

Production Assistance:

  • Deliver comprehensive project documentation to facilitate the manufacturing process.
  • Assist production personnel during the assembly and testing stages.

Validation Testing:

  • Participate in and facilitate Factory Acceptance Testing sessions to confirm systems align with client requirements.

Post-Delivery Assistance:

  • Support clients during the installation phase and aid Commissioning Engineers during Site Acceptance Testing.
  • Provide ongoing assistance throughout the system's operational lifespan.
