Job Title: Engineering Project Manager

Minstrell Engineering is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  2. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  3. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  4. Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.
  5. Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement project solutions.
  6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  7. Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical reports and presentations.
Requirements:
  1. Engineering qualification, to HND or Degree level.
  2. 3-5 years of engineering or project management experience.
  3. Experience of projects in manufacturing, automotive, airports, FMCG distribution, or similar fields.
  4. Ideal H&S qualification or strong working knowledge (IOSH, CDM, or NEBOSH).
  5. Knowledge of controls and automation.
  6. Ability to design and propose alternative solutions when faced with project barriers.
  7. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
  8. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, and ideally MS Project.
  9. The ability to deliver projects on time and within approved budget.
  10. Demonstrate a balanced and considered approach to problem resolution.
  11. Communicate requirements and facilitate compromises where appropriate.
