Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Workforce Advisor to join our Workforce and OD Directorate. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of a professional, expert, and specialist HR service to our Trust.

About the Role

The Senior Workforce Advisor will work under the guidance of the Workforce and Employee Relations Manager to provide a comprehensive, high-quality, and proactive operational workforce support service to managers and staff within the Trust. You will act as a first point of contact for allocated Divisions within the Trust, providing specialist advice on a range of employee relations issues, sickness absence, and change management processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist advice on employee relations issues, sickness absence, and change management processes to operational managers and staff.
  • Support the delivery of the Workforce and OD People Strategy, providing a specialist service to the wider organisation and offering proactive support to the organisation with the provision of expert advice on HR and ER programmes.
  • Work with operational managers to develop and implement HR initiatives that drive business outcomes and improve employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless and effective HR service delivery.
Requirements
  • Level 5 CIPD qualification or equivalent relevant Postgraduate Diploma Qualification or experience and level of knowledge.
  • In-depth understanding of modern human resources and major organisational developments.
  • Performance management experience.
  • Experience of advising operational managers across a wide range of specialised HR and employee relations matters within a complex, multi-site, unionised environment.
  • Experience of managing and leading complex organisational change programmes.
  • Experience of advising on employee relations panels.
