About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Peripatetic Clinical Development Nurse to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our clinical governance team, you will be responsible for leading, supporting, and continuously improving the clinical governance and quality of care for residents across our Care Homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the performance of each home to ensure it meets the highest clinical standards.
  • Review and analyze clinical governance databases and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement practical strategies to ensure compliance with regulations and improve care delivery.
  • Work closely with Regional Directors, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to support the continual improvement of standards.
  • Organize new training, help attract key senior clinical staff, and deliver clinical investigations as needed.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse RN (General) with a current NMC registration.
  • Strong understanding of current regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working in a care home environment and as a confident clinical mentor.
  • Leadership skills, sharp analytical mind, and ability to share knowledge, build relationships, and deliver on action plans.
