Job Type: Temporary/Contract

Location: Leicester and surrounding areas

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to work as a tutor, providing one-to-one support to children with speech and language difficulties in their homes or a learning hub/library.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-to-one tutoring sessions to children with speech and language difficulties
  • Work with children from KS1 to post-16
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support children's speech and language development
  • Collaborate with parents and other professionals to ensure consistent support for children
  • Monitor and record children's progress, making adjustments to learning plans as needed

Requirements:

  • QTS or HLTA qualifications
  • Experience tutoring and confident working on a one-to-one basis with students
  • Good knowledge of the curriculum
  • Experience working with students with SLCN
  • Excellent time-keeping and reliability
  • Access to your own vehicle or ability to travel around Leicester
  • Valid Enhanced DBS check
