About the Role

CDD Services (Synchronicity Care Ltd) is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Domestic Services Team at Darlington Memorial Hospital. As a Domestic Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out cleaning and related duties following set procedures and standards to maintain high levels of cleanliness throughout the environment.
  • Work as part of a team and use initiative to prioritise and organise daily duties, maintaining a professional approach at all times.
  • Ensure effective communication channels are maintained between staff, visitors, and patient groups regarding departmental cleaning and hygiene.
  • Be flexible to meet the needs of the service, ensuring continuity of service while adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Work unsupervised, be caring, flexible, and reliable, with good levels of personal hygiene.

Requirements
  • Secondary education qualification.
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety issues and COSHH.
  • Previous experience as a domestic housekeeper (desirable).
  • Ability to work within a caring, confidential environment and as part of a team in a busy environment.
