Job Title: QA/QC Engineer - Freelance

Force Contracting is seeking a skilled QA/QC Engineer to join our team on a freelance basis. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the converter station project.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced QA/QC professional to take on a challenging role and make a significant contribution to the success of our project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection/test plans for the converter station project.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes.
  • Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and work procedures.
  • Monitor and report on quality control performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and subcontractors to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Conduct training sessions for site personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Prepare detailed QA/QC reports, maintain documentation, and track quality metrics.
  • Liaise with clients, third-party inspectors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Investigate non-conformances, develop corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous experience in QA/QC roles within civil engineering, preferably in power or converter station projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction quality standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001) and relevant quality control software/tools.
  • Certifications in quality assurance/control (e.g., CQE, CQM) are highly desirable.
