Logistics Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Michael Page. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure efficient delivery of goods to customers
- Ensure premises, assets, and communication channels are used effectively to optimize logistics procedures
- Utilize logistics IT systems to optimize procedures and improve productivity
- Coordinate delivery schedules to maximize productivity and reduce costs
- Monitor and report on transportation costs to ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation
- Resolve issues regarding shipped orders and ensure shipping documents are in order
- Proven experience in logistics coordination within a busy distribution operation
- Excellent knowledge of logistics software and other IT packages such as Excel
- Strong coordination and project management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A keen eye for detail
- Annual salary of up to £30,000
