Key Responsibilities


• We seek to enhance our team's design, project management, and consultancy capabilities by integrating your Civil/Structural engineering expertise.

• You will be part of a dynamic team, engaging in a range of projects that include both office-based tasks and occasional site visits.

• This role offers a unique variety of experiences, including site assessments, project development through design and tendering phases, and providing technical support during the construction of new power generation facilities and low-carbon projects.

• You may also have the opportunity to apply your structural knowledge to existing gas-fired power stations, conducting structural evaluations and assisting in assessing asset conditions or engaging in plant modifications and major repairs.

• Your objective will be to deliver engineering solutions that are safe, timely, and budget-conscious, aligning with the evolving needs of our clients.

Current Projects
Our ongoing projects highlight the scope of work, including the development of new power generation plants, such as biomass boilers and green hydrogen facility design studies, as well as feasibility assessments for retrofitting carbon capture and storage systems on existing plants. Additionally, there may be opportunities to support the operation and maintenance of a diverse range of power generation facilities, including gas and coal-fired power stations, wind turbines, and waste-to-energy plants. This diversity necessitates a broad spectrum of civil and structural engineering skills and experience.

Candidate Profile


• A degree or equivalent qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering.

• Proven experience in Civil/Structural Engineering with a comprehensive design background in steel and reinforced concrete structures.

• Demonstrated ability to develop projects from initial concept to detailed design.

• Proficient in producing technical specifications and scope of work documents.

• Strong analytical skills with the capability to identify design enhancements at all project stages.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information to design engineers and project directors.

• Experience in project management, including the ability to oversee internal teams and external consultants, manage timelines and budgets, and identify areas for improvement.

• Familiarity with design software such as TEDDS, Trimble Structural, STAAD Pro, or similar, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

• A valid driving license is required, along with a willingness to travel to client sites.

• Hybrid working arrangement with a combination of office and remote work.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in large-scale industrial projects, particularly in the Petrochemical or Power Generation sectors.

• Involvement in project development, serving as the Owner's Engineer, and designing medium-sized industrial buildings would be advantageous.

• Ability to produce comprehensive technical reports based on site inspections of various structural forms and ages.
