Desktop Support Specialist

About the Role
As a Desktop Support Specialist at Capgemini, you will be responsible for providing second-line support for resolving Incidents to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This will involve completing Requests/IMACs to SLAs, escalating issues below 2% per Incident per month, and achieving CSATs for Incidents handled above 4.5 out of 5 per month.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide proactive communication with the Service Desk and Level 3 Teams.
- Undertake Project Tasks in support of both internal and external Project Managers.
- Undertake NSR Tasks to agreed timescales.
Your Skills and Experience
- Microsoft Windows O/S - working knowledge.
- Desktop hardware architecture – predominately HP desktop and laptops.
- Active Directory - basic administration.
- Automation - Understanding of Scripting technologies.
- Working Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM).
Security Clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (DV) clearance. This involves residing continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
