About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Looked After Children and Leaving Care Advocacy Office. As a key member of our Safeguarding Review and Quality Assurance service group, you will work closely with young people who are in or leaving the care system, developing innovative consultation and participation exercises to ensure their voices are heard and valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with young people to design and deliver services that meet their needs and aspirations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including social workers, carers, and other professionals
  • Provide advocacy support to young people, ensuring their rights and interests are represented
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of looked-after children and care leavers
About You

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in social work, advocacy, or a related field. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with young people and professionals alike. Your passion for championing the rights and interests of looked-after children and care leavers will be essential in this role.
