About Us:

School Business Services (SBS) is a leading provider of education support services and budgeting software in the UK. Our portfolio includes a range of finance, management information systems (MIS), and information and communication technology (ICT) solutions. Our team has extensive experience and a strong reputation in the education sector.

We are seeking an experienced ICT Engineer:

To join our organization, we are looking for an ICT Engineer with strong ICT deskside client and network infrastructure skills, excellent customer service and communication skills, and good problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing cover at schools on-site and remotely via the ICT Service Desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend schools on-site each day and provide cover where required.
  • Provide user and issue resolution for all O365 applications and Google Workspace.
  • Participate in IT projects related to school networking and security.
  • Assess situations quickly and implement recovery processes for issues such as server or switch failures, floods, and internet failures.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on engineer with a good working knowledge of small organizations or school networks. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven ability to work with others to deliver and manage a wide range of programs and projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • A willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check and a Right to Work in the UK.
