About the Role
This is a flexible position based out of our Bebside HWRC in Northumberland, with the requirement to work at other sites in the region, such as Wooler and North Sunderland.
- Providing guidance and support to the public on the efficient use of the site to maximize material recovery.
- Maintaining accurate records for material removal and site activities.
- Ensuring the exchange of containers by booking loads with relevant personnel, guaranteeing the site has space for segregation and storage.
- Maintaining a tidy site environment.
- Undertaking first aid and fire warden duties on site.
- Performing other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the job role.
Requirements
We seek an enthusiastic team player who will obtain a comprehensive understanding of the site license/permit and work to exceed operational standards. A flexible approach to work is advantageous, as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days. The successful applicant will be required to undertake personal development to acquire skills for waste acceptance, operation, and maintenance of site equipment. Basic administration skills for recording data on SUEZ R & R UK's reporting systems are also beneficial. Must be able to drive and have own transport.
