Site Operations Specialist

About the Role
This is a flexible role based out of our Bebside HWRC, Blyth, Northumberland, but will also be required to work at other sites in the region, such as Wooler and North Sunderland.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and assistance to the public on how to use the site to maximize material recovery.
- Maintain accurate records of material removal and site activities.
- Control the exchange of containers, ensuring the site has space to segregate and store material correctly.
- Ensure the site remains tidy and organized.
- Undertake first aider and fire warden duties on site.
- Perform other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the job role.
Requirements
We are seeking an enthusiastic team player who will obtain a full working understanding of the site license/permit and work to ensure site operations exceed required standards. A flexible approach to work is advantageous, as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days. The successful applicant will be required to undertake personal development to obtain skills for waste acceptance, operation, and maintenance of site equipment. Basic administration skills for recording data on SUEZ R & R UK's reporting systems are also advantageous. Must be able to drive and have own transport.
