About the Role
This is a flexible position based out of our Bebside HWRC, Blyth, Northumberland, but will also require working at other sites in the region, such as Wooler and North Sunderland.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing guidance and assistance to the public on how to effectively use the site to maximize material recovery.
- Maintaining accurate records for material removal and site activities.
- Controlling container exchange by booking loads with relevant personnel, ensuring the site has space for segregation and storage.
- Maintaining a tidy site.
- Performing first aid and fire warden duties on site.
- Undertaking other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the job role.
Requirements
We are seeking an enthusiastic team player who will obtain a full working understanding of the site license/permit and work to ensure site operations meet required standards. A flexible approach to work is advantageous, as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days. The successful applicant will be required to undertake personal development to obtain skills for waste acceptance, operation, and maintenance of site equipment. Basic administration skills for recording data on SUEZ R & R UK's reporting systems are also advantageous. Must be able to drive and have own transport.
