An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Reporting Expert to join our client, a prominent company, on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on tackling complex financial challenges, enjoys working with diverse teams, and has a knack for building strong relationships. The position offers the chance to work on a variety of periodic financial reporting tasks as well as get involved in numerous ad-hoc projects.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Reporting Expert, your primary responsibility will be:

  • Managing various periodic financial reporting tasks.
  • Prepare statutory annual financial statements
  • Assist in preparing external reporting packs and quarterly regulatory reports to the Financial Conduct Authority
  • Support new projects and testing activities as required
  • Streamline and standardise existing processes to improve efficiency
  • Develop strong working relationships with the wider Finance team and key contacts around the Group

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this Financial Reporting Expert role will bring:

  • Sound knowledge of FRS102 and UKGAAP statutory reporting
  • Awareness of Financial Conduct Authority regulations and Financial Services
  • Strong accounting and financial reporting background
