We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Clinical Lead to join our Radiography Department at Withybush General Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and leading our team of radiographers.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operational needs of the team, including staff supervision, training, and development. You will also be involved in the planning and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the radiography team, ensuring that all staff are trained and competent to perform their duties
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Supervise and mentor radiographers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless patient flow and effective communication
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental strategies and plans
Requirements:
  • Degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent diploma
  • HCPC registration
  • Knowledge of IR(ME)R 2017 and IRR 2017
  • Postgraduate study in area relevant to post
  • Advanced clinical experience
  • Continuous professional development in radiography, substantiated by personal portfolio
Language Skills:
  • Welsh Speaker (Level 1)
