About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loading Bay Manager to join our team at Sea Containers London. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services in and out of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the loading bay area, including scheduling and coordinating deliveries, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.

  • Supervise a team of loading bay assistants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

  • Receive and inspect deliveries to verify accuracy and quality, and ensure that goods are properly stored and distributed to the appropriate departments.

  • Monitor inventory levels of supplies and equipment, and collaborate with the procurement team to order necessary items in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including tracking documentation, invoices, and receipts.

  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to facilitate the smooth flow of goods and services and address any issues or concerns that may arise.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and security protocols to maintain a safe and secure working environment.

  • Assist the Executive Chef and Finance Team in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity in the loading bay area.
