Job Opportunity:

We are working with a top accountancy firm in the UK, expanding rapidly with multiple offices across Central and Southern England. As part of their exciting growth plans, they are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Senior or Accounts Semi Senior to join their team in Oxford.

The Role:

  • Building strong, lasting relationships with clients
  • Handling complex accounts assignments across various sectors
  • Working with accounting software like CCH, Sage, and Xero
  • Developing technical and commercial expertise
  • Delivering high-standard assignments on time and within budget
  • Preparing statutory and management accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships
  • Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations
  • Managing workload efficiently while exceeding client expectations
  • Supervising, training, and assisting junior team members
  • Collaborating with colleagues and partners across the business

About You:

  • ACCA/ACA qualified or finalist with at least 3 years of UK practice experience
  • Experienced with FRS102 1A (essential)
  • Ideally experienced with SRAs, international, consolidated, or charity accounts
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and client management skills
  • Detail-oriented, with strong IT skills, especially in Excel
  • A positive, confident team player with a proactive attitude
  • Skilled at managing deadlines and delivering high-quality work
  • Passionate about developing junior team members
