Audit and Accounts Senior

We are working with a top accountancy firm in the UK, with multiple offices across Central and Southern England, to find an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join their Oxford team.
The Role:- Lead a variety of complex audit assignments across multiple sectors, collaborating with managers and partners as needed.
- Prepare audit files, undertake audit planning, and lead/assist with fieldwork.
- Assist in work allocation and supervise junior team members on audits, providing support, training, and reviewing their work.
- Ensure audit assignments are completed to a high standard, on time, and within budgets agreed with Directors.
- Utilize accounting software to provide accurate reporting for Managers, Directors, and clients.
- Prepare statutory accounts and finalize accounts under the supervision of your Line Manager.
- Prepare corporation tax computations.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships within Shaw Gibbs and with clients as required.
- Enhance technical knowledge through on-the-job training.
- ACCA/ACA qualified or almost qualified.
- Minimum of 3 years' UK Audit practice experience, with some accounts experience also required.
- Xero, Sage, Caseware, and CCH experience would be advantageous.
- Fully fluent in English with proven communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong IT skills, specifically Excel, and able to quickly learn new IT packages.
- Ability to prioritize and meet tight timeframes with high-quality output.
- Able to work within procedures on job aspects dealing with facts, standards, and quality.
